Choose a specific customer need.

Begin with an occasion, category and proposition. Research the alternatives an Australian shopper already considers and the expectations relevant to that need. Do not assume an India proposition transfers unchanged.

Model an Australian order.

Use AUD and a clearly defined revenue basis. Assess available fulfilment, delivery, returns and support alongside product cost and acquisition. Verify any applicable obligations with qualified local advisers before launch.

Keep markets separate in reporting.

A global total can hide local differences in availability, cost and customer behaviour. Give the Australian programme its own scope and learning period. Do not add INR and AUD figures without an explicitly defined conversion basis.

Launch with a learning plan.

Start with a selected assortment and a customer segment you can serve well. Define the evidence that would justify expansion, a change to the proposition or a pause. A focused test can make the next commitment more informed.
